Tales of Frogs and Cupcakes is having a Pinspiration Linky Party. I'm still very new to pinning. This is one of the cute ideas that I have pinned. I want to try it for Valentine's Day.

  4. I haven't tried this activity yet but I do have the pan. I found one at target a few years ago. The hearts are a little bigger though.

  5. this is too cute! I like the different colored hearts. I have done this in the past for Valentines and Halloween but used one color per cup.

    @Hansen6: The pans have to be silicone :)You can find them at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Bed Bath and Beyond. Christmas ones are 80% off right now at Hobby Lobby!!

  9. I make this every year for Valentine's Day. Great way to use up old crayons. I bought my pan at Michael's. I use a glue dot to hold the crayon heart onto a die cut heart.

  10. Target has the heart pans right now in the dollar bins at the front of the store for Valentine's Day. $2.50 for 2.

  11. Also, if you don't have a silicone tray, you can use a regular cupcake tray but put it in the freezer for an hour or so. The crayons will pop right out... :)

  12. This was just to cute...so I had to try it. And it made the prettiest little disc, since I didn't have the heart pan I just used mini muffin pans. I have twin grandchildren that are about to turn 8 and they will love this. Thank you for sharing. I am glad I ran across this site.

  13. we do this every year with our extra crayons. be sure to only use crayola brand. others are too waxy. i write "you color my world!"
